The Sports Authority Ultimate Skills Challenge

Guess what? TopBaseballTournaments.com partenred up with Sports Authority for bring their Ultimate Skills Challenge to the tournament.  It will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2012.

If you’re looking for something to do with the kids in between games or on a day off, this is a great event to get them out. Let them burn off all of that youthful energy!

Get the kids out of the hotel room and take a break for yourself. This is a great one hour event for the players and any friends or siblings to take part in as well.

This event is open to the public. It is deisgned for children ages 5-14 years old. We ask that you register online in advance. Go to register online with a credit card.

Kids get to play in three different competition events on the field.

1. Pitching – Each player gets to throw eight pciehs at a target. Points are awarded for each hit of the target.

2. Hitting – Each player gets six swings off a tee. The competition is based on distance and accuracy.

3. Baserunning – Each player runs the bass twice. Their best time is then converted to points.

The top four finishers in each age group will receive awards.

• 5 & 6 Year olds – 8AM
• 7 & 8 year olds – 9AM
• 9 & 10 year olds – 10AM
• 11 & 12 year olds – 11AM
• 13 & 14 year olds – 12PM
