How can you prepare for the trigger?
A trigger is one of the baseball batting techniques that every hitter should learn. It involves standing in the right position, in readiness to hit a pitched baseball. Every hitter has their own preference when it comes to the stance, but what matters most is learning how to prepare for the trigger. Once you take your stance and have the ball coming at you, your hand should go towards the back foot; allowing you to channel all the power you need for a successful hit.
How can you release the trigger for a successful hit?
Learning how to release a trigger goes hand in hand with other baseball techniques required for a successful hit. Once you are in position and the pitcher comes at you ready to throw the ball; spin on the back foot and slight open up your hips. This will help you to accurately time the swing and hit the baseball successfully. Most people drop their hands, instead of spinning on the back foot; when practicing it is important to concentrate each time you release the trigger, and rework your timing for a successful hit.
